WHEELERSBURG — Harold Lloyd Miller, 89, Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at Best Care Nursing Center. He was born Jan. 17, 1924, in Logan County, W.Va., to the late John Cecil Miller and Arulla (Swim) Miller. He was a retired Yard Brakeman with N&W Railroad with 30 years service. He was a Baptist and a U.S. Army World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Frazie Miller whom he married Jan. 14, 1943, in Wheelersburg; three sons, Robert L. (Norma) Miller; Ralph (Teresa) Miller, both of Wheelersburg; Bryan (Barbara) Miller of Portsmouth; two Daughters, Patricia (Lonnie) Kayser, of Wheelersburg, and Peggy (Dana) Maggs, of Dallas, Texas, and 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Lawrence Miller, brothers, Cecil, Glenn, Ted and Eugene and sisters, Katherine Thompson, Virginia Smith, Lucille Fox, Irene Taylor, Opal Leeman, and Maxine McMillin.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at HARRISON-PYLES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Aaron Reed officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Graveside Military services will be conducted by James Dickey American Legion Post 23.
