Elder Ralph J. "Pamp" Fields Jr. Obituary
Fields Jr., Elder Ralph L. "Pamp" Elder Ralph L. Fields, Jr., "Pamp" was born August 5, 1969 to Nancy E. Fields and the late Ralph L. Fields, Sr. He was a 1987 graduate of Westside High School in Gary, Indiana. After graduation, he enlisted into the US Marine Corps, where he served his country. Ralph was a member of Yahweh C.O.G.I.C. in Minneapolis, MN; upon relocating back to Indiana, he rejoined Bethel Temple where he was ordained an elder in the C.O.G.I.C. in March of 2012. In July of 2012, Ralph became the interim Pastor. He was installed as Pastor in March of 2013. He was preceded in death by brother, Anthony "Sonny" Peterson. Ralph leaves to cherish his memory three sons, D'Vontae, Hezekiah and K'Ziah; mother, Nancy E. Fields; two sisters, Merita "Ree" (Reginald) Marshall of Phenix City, AL; and Evelyn "Pat" Thomas (Darrel Bell); brother, Karl E. Peterson "Peanut"; one uncle, Melvin (Eloise) Pennington; one great-aunt, Ophelia Gerald; 2 aunts, Reighlanda (George) MacArthur, Arnetta (Carl) Estelle; 3 nephews; 4 nieces; 2 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces; a special Godmother, Susie Miller; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. family hour 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave. Funeral services Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethel Temple COGIC, 110 W. 43rd Ave. Bishop L. Marshall, Officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
