Cloudy Jr., Joseph "Broadway Joe" Age 82, of Gary, Indiana passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was born December 18, 1931 in East Chicago, Indiana where he attended East Chicago Roosevelt High School. He was in the US Army and served in the Korean War WWII. Joseph worked as a Psychiatric Aid at the Beatty Memorial Hospital. He worked in the Blast furnace at US Steel for over 30 years until he retired. Joseph first started professionally bowling at Tri-City; also bowled at Stardust, Dunes, Olympia One and Two lanes. Broadway Joe was an avid bowler in several leagues and he loved to play Bid Whist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Cloudy Sr, Vera (Cleo) Culver-Sutton; brothers, Harry, Lawrence; sisters, Vivian, Hershey, Delores, and Cleo. He leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Diane Cloudy Reese of CA, Darnice Cloudy of Gary, IN; sister, Jennifer (Juneus) Smith; special woman he knew for over thirty years and love of his life, Sheila "Auntie" Price and son, Eric (Jessica) Price; 4 grandchildren, Shereese Washington, Joshua Cloudy, Dupree Price, and Devin Harding; 1 great-grandchild, Anthony Rouse; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, March 21, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. family hours 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. all the services at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
