Linell Renee Swader Obituary
Swader, Linell Renee 65, of Stafford County, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Swader had worked for more than 20 years for Social Services in Stafford County and Gary, Indiana. She was a graduate of Purdue University, and a graduate of Roosevelt High School Class of 1966. She was a member of Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, where in addition to singing in the church choir, she worked for the church school for 11 years. She also volunteered for Hope House. She adored children and loved being with her family. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Carlton Swader; a daughter Andrene Swader; grandchildren, Jada, Carlton J., Asia, and Aaron; her mother, Dorothy Hamer; and two sisters, Cheryl and Marcella Hamer. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. A service will be held at noon on Thursday, January 23, at Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the of Virginia, 1742 E. Parham Rd., Richmond, VA 23228; the , P.O.
