Terrance L. "Terry" Briscoe Obituary
Briscoe, Terrance L. "Terry" Born September 4, 1958, he made his transition from earth to heaven on September 14, 2013 after a brief illness. Terry was preceded in death his parents, Curley L Briscoe, Sr. and Dorothy Briscoe, grandmother Daisy Sturgis Crisler, brother Curley L. Briscoe Jr., and nephew Marcus Dantae' Briscoe. Terry accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He grew up in Tarrytown M.B. Church under the pastorage of Rev. J.D. Henderson. He was a member of the Celestial Choir and he loved to sing. He graduated from Lincoln School, Gary Community School Corp. in 1976. Terry later participated in the Special Olympics in Indianapolis, IN. Terrance leaves to cherish fond memories 2 loving sisters Madeline (Hayward) Ford Jr. and Bobbi Denise Briscoe both of Indianapolis, IN. 1 Uncle Jesse "Tex" (Kathleen) Sturgis of Gary, IN. 7 nieces, 4 nephews, special brother James L. Thomas of Indianapolis, IN and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 9 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Tarrytown M.B. Church, 601 Ralston St. Gary, IN Rev. Willie L. Joyner Jr., Pastor. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
