Frank Manzo

Frank Matthew-Angelo Manzo, 74, died at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Silver Bay, Minn., on Tuesday Nov. 5, 2013, after a struggle with liver disease.

Frank Manzo was born March 7,1939, to Matteo Manzo and Angela (Bonventre) Manzo in Detroit Mich.

Frank resided in Michigan and Minnesota (the last 19 years) for most of his adult life. He lived in Rochester prior to moving to the Veterans Home in Silver Bay, Minn., a year and a half ago. He attended several colleges, including the University of Michigan. Over the years he was employed at various places including General Motors, Wrigley's Corp and Jockey. One of Frank's favorite jobs was working at a camp for troubled teens when he was young. Frank had a wry sense of humor and was interested in photography. Frank never married.

He is survived by siblings, Rose (Manzo) Trombetta, Sam Manzo and Joe Manzo, all in Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Manzo.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at St Luke's Episcopal Church in Rochester.
