Funeral services for Laurie Christopherson will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ostrander, with Pastor Herman Bakker officiating. Burial will take place in Oronoco Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at Trinity Lutheran Church, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Laurie Christopherson, 56, of Ostrander, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at the Stewartville Care Center in Stewartville.
Laurie Rollie was born Oct. 20, 1957, in Zumbrota, to Larry and Evelyn (Schultz) Rollie. She was a 1976 graduate from Mazeppa High School in Mazeppa. After high school, Laurie continued her education and studied to become a surgical tech. She has since worked at Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys in Rochester, as a C.S.T. for 37 years. On Aug. 24, 1991, Laurie was united in marriage to Dale Christopherson in Stewartville.
Laurie enjoyed fishing, baking with her grandson, sewing and making surgical hats, and working on the farm.
Laurie is survived by her husband, Dale Christopherson of Ostrander; daughters, Sarah Tentis of Apple Valley and Marie Christopherson of Spring Valley; grandson, Jackson Rowe; mother, Evelyn (Chuck) Weick of Mazeppa; siblings, Judy Rollie of Mazeppa, Jim (Wendi) Rollie of Oronoco and Connie (Brad) Dahlke of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry and brother, Ed Rollie.
