Frank, 68, of Rochester, formerly of Pawtucket, R.I., and Gloucester, Mass., passed away Friday, April 11, 2014, at his home surrounded by his wife and family.
Frank was born May 26, 1945, in Attleboro, Mass., to Frank and Alice (Sequin) Bandilli. Frank graduated from Pawtucket Vocational High School. Later into his adult life, Frank opened his own bar in Providence, R.I., that he operated for several years. Frank also owned and operated several rental properties in Providence. Frank had a passion for working on homes and working on cars. Frank relocated to Gloucester, Mass., after meeting his wife, Kelly (Tarr) Bandilli. On Feb. 25, 2006, the couple was married after being together for seven years. Frank and Kelly lived in Gloucester with their four children until they relocated to Rochester on Aug. 26, 2006.
During his life here in Minnesota, Frank worked for Gold Cross Courier for five years. Frank also had provided cleaning and maintenance services to Work Out World of Rochester (at the Crossroads Plaza). In addition, Frank cleaned several Mayo Clinic buildings while working for Arnold's Supply.
Frank was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer on Jan. 29, 2010. He fought a courageous battle for four years and never gave up, living life to its fullest.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly Bandilli (Rochester); his two sons, Jamie "Jay" Hall (Bridget) of West Concord and Colby Hall of Rochester; his two daughters, Samantha and Marissa Trupiano of Rochester; and three granddaughters, Nevaeh Severino-Trupiano and Sierrah Gilbertson, both of Rochester and Anna Neilsen of West Concord. Frank is also survived by his nephew, Travis Tarr, nieces, Alyssa Roraff and Haley Brogan, in-laws, Deb and Eugene Eide and sister-in-law, Aimee Tarr, all from Rochester; and sister-in-law, Melinda Tarr of Gloucester, Mass. Frank also is survived by his brother, John Bandilli of Cranston, R.I.; and a sister, Anne of Rhode Island; and many nieces and nephews that also reside in Rhode Island.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice Bandilli.
A visitation service will be held Monday, April 14, 2014, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, (1119 11-1/2th St. S.E., Rochester) beginning at 6 p.m., and going through 9 p.m. Friends and family are welcome and strongly encouraged to come share memories and say their last goodbyes.
