Jon Paul Senrick, 60, of Rochester, passed away April 17, 2014, at Rochester Methodist Hospital.

He was born Jan. 13, 1954, in Rochester to Eldred and Lois (DeWitz) Senrick. Jon retired after 29 years working as a scale house operator for Olmsted County. He was very independent and "lived by the beat of his own drum" and enjoyed the simple things in life. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandson and taking the time to visit with family. He enjoyed spending time on Lake Zumbro, where he could usually be found on his pontoon or one of his other boats enjoying the lake. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his daughters, Malissa (Tony) Nelson, of Rochester, and Nicole (Spencer) Sachs, of Chicago; and his grandson, Uriah Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 810 Third Ave. S.E. in Rochester, with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
