William Douglas Klees, 64, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.

He was born Sept. 24, 1949, in Whitehall, Wis., to James Martin and Doris Mae (Storlie) Klees. After graduating from Mayo High School in 1968, he served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Bill was united in marriage to Nancy Goris and they were later divorced.
Bill loved golf, fishing, and deer hunting with his family and friends. He loved, respected and spoke highly of his children. Bill was loved by all that came in contact with him and will be missed dearly.
Bill is survived by his wife and best friend, Jacqueline (Lange); sons, Nick (Lara) of Freeburg, Ill., Jeff (Michelle) of Springfield, Ill., and daughter, Carrie Klees of Belleville Ill.; one stepson, Gregory Lange of Red Wing; stepdaughter, Amanda Fast of Owatonna; and eight grandchildren; three brothers, Greg Klees of Rochester, Jim Klees of Inver Grove Heights and Joe (Leta) Klees of Bella Vista, Ark.; six sisters, Sharon (Ken) Strum of Racine, Judy (Kevin) Christensen of Bella Vista, Ark., Deb (Pat) Towey of Hayfield, Renee (Kurt) Braeutigam of Houston, Texas, Michelle (Steve) Eide of Wabasha and Tammy (Gary) Nordine of Rock Dell.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents one brother, and one son.
Arrangements in Bella Vista are being made by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
Out of respect for Bill's wishes, he has been cremated and there will be a private family gathering in Minnesota to celebrate his life.
