Kimball, Violet I.
Our loving mother passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at age 92. She was born on October 27, 1921 to the late Edward F. Badkte and Emma J. (Schmeckel) Badtke. Preceding her in death was her husband of 25 years, Richard J. Kimball, her sister Esther Molchanov, and her brothers Reinhold and Earhardt Badtke.
Mom had a passion for music, knowing all the lyrics to the "big band" songs she danced to at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago with our father and his family in the 1940's. She enjoyed playing golf well into her mid-70's and loved all the parties and family get-togethers throughout the years with family and friends.
Surviving her in death are her three daughters: Audrey J. Jimenez and her husband Miguel, Appleton; Patricia Wright and her husband Art, Blue Springs, MO; Kathleen Fletcher and her husband Mark, Appleton. She has six grandchildren: Melissa Moss, Ryan Robertson, Christopher Wright and his wife Lanie, Taryn Wright, Holly Menzer and her husband Ryan, and Dana Reiter; six great-grandchildren: Civanni, Jordan and Naiya Moss, and Hanna and Caleb Wright; and Mercedes Menzer. She is also survived by her brother, Edward Badtke, her "guardian angel" Jodi Sprotti, and her beloved schitzu Korey.
Even though she has passed on from this earth, mom will live on in our hearts forever.
