Jensen, Peter Kristian 12/29/1954 to 11/17/2014. Peter is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan M. Jensen (nee Tummett) and their son, Kristoffer A. Jensen of Glendale Heights, IL; his mother, Annelise Jensen of Appleton; his mother-in-law, Helen Tummett of Appleton; his brother and sisters and their families, Erick and MaryJo Jensen and their daughters, Katrina and Kirsten of Appleton, WI; Helen and David Schultz and their sons, William and Eric of Pine Springs, MN; Alice and Thomas Brown of Visalia, CA; Karen and Rich Mueller and their children, Sonja, Paul and Marie of Holland Patent, NY; Susan's brother, David Tummett of Appleton, and his children Jessica Tummett and Bryce and Sarah Tummett; Susan's sister, Shari and Tom Lapinski of Ogdensburg, WI. Peter was preceded in death by his father, A. Kristian Jensen; father-in-law, Robert Tummett and nephew, Brandon Lapinski. Peter graduated from Appleton West High School in WI in 1973; followed by graduation in 1980, from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan, with a degree in civil engineering. His jobs included working for Chicago Northwestern Railroad, A. K. Jensen Corporation and A.E.C.O.M. He recently started working for TranSystems in Schaumburg, IL. His real love was rail work. Peter had a great smile and a real love of life. Come and share your memories of Peter at the Celebration of his Life on Monday, December 29, 2014, with a visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 209 S. Allen St., Appleton, WI 54911. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, www.qbef.org or WGN Radio Neediest Kids Fund.

Jackson, Lois M.  
Lois M. Jackson Lois M. Jackson, age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Born in Appleton to the late Kenneth and Dorothea (Nehls) Welson on November 14, 1925. In 1946, she married Earl W. Jackson. During WWII, she worked for Wisconsin Bell Inc. as a phone operator, but her true calling was as a caretaker to her family. She was a loving mother, and raised four boys while also caring for the home. She also enjoyed gardening, watching the Packers and shopping for clothes and watches. She spent 30 years as a resident at Oneida Heights and enjoyed volunteering and socializing. She is survived by her children: William (Joan), Joseph (Leslie), Gerald (Kathy) and Daniel (Lisa); grandchildren: Brian, Kimberly, Christopher (Lea Ann), Ian (Kristen), Colin, Kelly (Lizz), Nicole, Scott (Aliza Loren), Earl and Cory; great-grandchildren: Dane, Georgia, Reece and Evelyn; her former husband, Earl W. Jackson; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Evelyn, Aileen, Katie and Don and an infant daughter, Mary. The funeral liturgy for Lois will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH (222 E. Fremont St., Appleton). Visitation will be held at church from 9:30 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com . The family would like to extend a thank you to the nurses and staff at both Affinity Hospice and Rennes Health and Rehab for the care provided to Lois. Also, a thank you to the staff and residents at Oneida Heights for the friendship and love they gave to Lois.

Johnson, Neal  
Johnson, Neal A. Neal Allen Johnson, age 60, died on Monday, December 15, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton following a brief illness. Neal was born on November 15, 1954 in Appleton, the son of the late Eugene and Betty (Weinand) Johnson. Following his education, Neal enlisted in the Marine Corps and served his country from March of 1972 until January of 1975. Neal is survived by his son, Ken Kauwale, San Diego, CA; three sisters, Rose (Allen) Horneck, Menasha; Susan (Dennis) Malnati, AZ; and Sandra (Larry) Meidam, Ogema, WI; and by nieces and nephews. Neal was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Johnson. Per Neal's wishes there will be no services held.
