Palmbach, Karen Karen S. Palmbach, age 51, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was born on September 19, 1965 in Appleton to John and Susan (Krake) Brinkman. Karen graduated in 1983 from Appleton West High School. In her later years she attended Rasmussen College and earned her nursing degree. Before working as a traveling nurse Karen was employed with Hoffmaster. Karen attended St. John Evangelical Church. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing on bowling and golf leagues. She always took an opportunity to travel whenever possible. Karen was known for finding "treasures" at rummage sales and a soft spot for animals, especially her dogs Mika and Maggie. Above all Karen's fondest memories where those with her grandbabies. Karen is survived by her two loving children, Travis (Brooke) Palmbach and Shanon (Drew) Price; her two grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Price and Carter Jayce Palmbach. She is further survived by her mother, Susan Brinkman and two brothers. Karen also leaves behind several dear friends whom she enjoyed their company and spending time with. She was preceded in death by her father, John Brinkman and her infant son, John. Family will be celebrating Karen's life with a private memorial service. Online condolences can be offered at .

Parker, William "Bill"  
Parker, William "Bill" Passed away October 14, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center. Bill was born in Appleton, WI on February 5, 1942, the son of Sylvester and Margaret (Fisher) Parker. He worked at the family-owned Peoples Laundry and Dry Cleaners until his move to the Kalamazoo area with ServiceMaster, where he worked at Borgess Medical Center, and then Kohl's in customer service. He was a veteran of Vietnam, having served in radio relay as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Bill enjoyed taking courses through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WMU; he was a member of Catholic Order of Foresters, as well as the Knights of Columbus. He had a great love for all beasts, feathered and furry, especially his pal at home, Sidney. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Thomas. He is survived by his wife Joanne, whom he married June 29, 1968; 3 children: Joseph & Jennifer Parker of Paw Paw, Jeanne Parker and Sarah Parker, both of Kalamazoo; grandchildren: Geoffrey (Sarah) Parker, Sean and Ian McConnell, Gavin and Rowan Parker; sister-in-law: Carole Parker; aunts: Laurie Fisher and Bernie Fisher; nephew: Steve (Kris) Parker; niece: Kathleen (Travis) Jones, as well as their children; and many cousins. Bill was especially close with his cousin Marian Behrent, whom he considered as his big sister. Friends will be received Thursday, Oct.20, 2016 at the Parchment - Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East G. Ave., 269.343.6156 from 4 until 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday Oct. 21, 2016 at 11am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Father Kevin Covert Celebrant. Burial will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Payne, Jeanne C.  
Payne, Jeanne C. Jeanne C. Payne (Fandrey), 82 years, of Appleton was called into the waiting arms of the Lord on Friday, October 14, 2016. She was born November 2, 1933 in Neenah, the daughter of Herbert and Mamie (Krueger) Fandrey. She attended one year of high school at Neenah before she had a talk with her father on attending Winnebago Lutheran Academy. He agreed to her attending there if she worked to fund it. Jeanne spent her spare time baby-sitting neighborhood children to raise the funds. She proudly graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy in 1951. She worked as a secretary at AAL Insurance after graduation. She also worked at a lawyer's office, American Can Co. and finally at Kimberly-Clark where she retired in 1999. Jeanne's dedication to Christian education was of high importance to her. She was active in the Ladies Guild at Fox Valley Lutheran High School holding officer positions many times. She and Spencer shared the weekly sermons on tape with shut-ins of their church. On May 29, 1954 she married Spencer R. Payne at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Neenah. Her children have fond memories of her banana bread and her devotion to caring for her husband Spencer. Jeanne is remembered for her welcoming smile, kind demeanor and polite manner. Jeanne enjoyed long walks, but most of all she loved her time with her family. Survivors include her three children David (Joyce) Payne of Appleton, Laura (Mike) Hermans of Neenah, and Daniel (Lenora) Payne of Canyon Country, California, five grandchildren Matthew (Sarah) Payne of Waseca, Minnesota, Cassandra Payne of Appleton, Timothy (Jessica) Payne of Newburg, Wisconsin, Christianna (Dan) Feld of Fox Crossing, and Keith (Sarah) Delaney of California, four great-grandchildren Joshua Spencer Payne, Brynn Helen Payne, Abigail Delaney and Thomas Delaney, brothers-in-law Robert (Pat) Payne of Fox Crossing, Richard (Mary) Payne of Menasha, Don (Eva) Payne of Freedom, and sister-in-law Shirley (Don) Dahl of Menasha. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters Jacquelin Germaine, Joan Kramer, brother-in-law Rollin Kramer, in-laws Spencer and Viola (Kehl) Payne, brother-in-law Gordon Payne, and sister-in-law Sally Payne. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The Christian Funeral for Jeanne will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11 am at Eternal Love Ev. Lutheran Church, 1011 E. Midway Rd., Appleton. Rev. Robert Balza and Rev. David Pries officiating. Private interment Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 pm and again at the church on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to FVL Ladies Guild Memorial Scholarship Fund appreciated. Thank you to David and Joyce as well as Helen's House for their loving devotion. We rejoice that Jeanne is in the loving arms of her Savior.

Peterson, Bonnie Ruth  
Peterson, Bonnie Ruth Bonnie Ruth Peterson, age 73, of Winchester, died Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was born July 19, 1943, in Neenah to the late Joseph and Elsie (Mathison) Peterson. Bonnie was a 1961 graduate of Winneconne High School. For 42 years she was employed at Banta Publishing Corp. until her retirement in 2005. Bonnie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Winchester and sang in the church choir. She was a volunteer at Ruth's Pantry in Winchester and enjoyed woodworking. Bonnie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Judy Peterson, of Hortonville; a sister, Karen Angell, of Winneconne; three sisters-in-law, Vera Henschel, of Neenah; Kay Peterson, of Winneconne; Evie Peterson, of Neenah; grandchildren, Stephanie, Melanie, Jenna, and Kyle; great-grandson, Tanner; a special cousin, Ruthie (LaCount) Carriveau; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Along with her parents, Bonnie was also preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and two brothers-in-law, Marlyn Henschel, Gene Peterson, David Peterson, Beverly and Orrin Prindle, and Elroy Angell. A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, October 24, 2016, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester, 8396 Steeple Hill Dr. Larsen, Wisconsin. A funeral service will be held on Monday at the church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ted Johanson officiating. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Winchester.
