Beverly J. Niec
Beverly Jean Niec, age 66, of Appleton was called to her eternal home in heaven on Thursday, April 10, 2014 with her family by her side at Appleton Medical Center. Beverly was born on August 3, 1947 in Appleton to Robert and Dorothy (Kearn) Moon. She has two daughters with former husband Edward Niec Jr., Jodi (Phil) Vande Wettering of Little Chute and Debra Laper of Union Grove. Bev truly lived life to the fullest through the simplest of pleasures; spending time with grandchildren; Katrina and Kalyn Harvat, Oconto Falls, Brad, Jenna and Megan Vande Wettering, Little Chute. She was very much looking forward to meeting her soon to be granddaughter in just a few short weeks. She was a sibling of four: Ronald (Patricia) Moon of Milwaukee, Kathleen (Gary) Lindell of Appleton, Judith (Bartholomew) Ziewacz of Black Creek, James (Diane) Moon of Shawano. Bev worked many years as a waitress for Brick's Supper Club in Black Creek, Wisconsin. She was a former resident of the Appleton Retirement Community where she enjoyed visiting with many of her friends and played Wii bowling and bingo. When she wasn't with friends or family you could either find her tooling around and shopping or front and center at a Boogie & the Yo-Yoz concert. She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
She is survived by her two daughters, her four siblings, as well as nieces: Amy, Kayla (Jason), Cori, Katherine and Christina; nephews: John, Lucas, Travis, Jeremy, Bryan (Adina) and Dustin as well as many other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Dorothy Moon, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edward Sr. and Gladys Niec and her brother-in-law, Gary Lindell.
