Krueger, Charles "Charlie' L.

Charles "Charlie" L. Krueger, age 66 of the Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Manor Care in Shawano.

Charlie was born on February 16, 1947, in Clintonville, the son of the late Kermith and Florence (Hoffmann) Krueger. He graduated from Clintonville High School, later working at Curwood Corporation, New London. He was called to serve in the U.S. Army on December 11, 1968, later receiving the National Defense Service Metal and the Vietnam Service & Campaign Metals. He was discharged from the service on July 20, 1970, returned to the Township of Deer Creek and continued to work at Curwood until retirement because of his health. On September 22, 1973, Charlie married Linda Hohn at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London. His hobbies included riding motorcycle and working on cars. Throughout the years he became known as his family's car dealer. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; his daughters, Michelle "Shelly" (Charles) Campbell andMonica Krueger (special friend, Jesu's Tamayo), Clintonville; his son, Michael Krueger, Clintonville; his grandchildren, Damien, Taylor and Austin Campbell, Elian and Marissa Tamayo, Brianna and Dradyn Krueger; his sister, Kayleen A. Krueger Gast, Seymour; his brothers, Allen Krueger, Clintonville; Gary (Claudia) Krueger, Manawa; Keith (Sandra) Krueger, New London.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Warren in infancy.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville with the Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Township of Matteson, Waupaca County.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.

Military honors will be provided at the cemetery by the American Legion Post # 63 and the V.F.W. Post # 664 of Clintonville.
