Neill, Dorraine V.
Dorraine V. Neill, age 85, was set free from the debilitating struggle of Alzheimer's Disease on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Parkview Health Center in Oshkosh.
She was born on December 7, 1927 in Crystal Lake Township to Richard and Esther Schultz, the youngest of seven children. In 1945 she graduated from Neshkoro High School, there were seven students in her graduating class. Dorraine moved to Neenah in 1946 in order to work at Kimberly Clark's Lakeview mill. She lived with her brother and his wife and met her future husband Donald Neill who lived across the street. Dorraine and Donald were married on November 25, 1950. She was a loving, caring wife and mother. They had a wonderful life together traveling throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe as well as through service to others. She was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church, Neenah, and would often be found in the church kitchen helping whenever there was a need. Dorraine was also employed with Theda Clark Hospital, retiring in 1986.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Donald; daughters: Denise Bolduc, Middleton, WI; Cheryl (David) Neill, Cedar Falls, IA; grandchildren: Liesel (Brett) Beckwith, Madison, WI; Laura, Eric, and Sarah Neill, all from Cedar Falls; and Robert Bolduc, Middleton, WI. She is further survived by her sister, Serena Wachholz, Oshkosh; and sister-in-law, Margaret Schultz, Neenah, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dorraine was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Norman Schultz; Aaron (Ardis) Schultz; sisters: Edna (Roy) Bushweller; Verna (Herbert) Metzig; Lila (Morris) Vinz; brother-in-law, Raymond Wachholz; sister-in-law, Janice (David) Sanders; and her first child, a son, in 1956.
A memorial service for Dorraine will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Faith United Methodist Church, 1025 Tullar Road, Neenah, with Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. Friends and family may greet Dorraine's family at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to Faith United Methodist Church or Parkview Health Center.

Also, special thanks to Stephanie RN and the Heartland Hospice staff who provided exceptional care and service to Dorraine during her last weeks.
