Neng Lyboualong was 55 years old when he passed away from a second stroke on Saturday July 20, 2013 at 10:45 am. Mr. Neng M. Lyboualong was born on December 2, 1957 at Ban Phoudou, Province of Xiengkhouang, Laos. Neng's parents were Mr. Nhia Ma Moua and Mrs. Mai Lor.
During the Vietnam War
1970- 1975 Neng was only 13 years old when he was recruited to join the Special Guerrilla Unit (SGU) by the American CIA. He served with MG Vang Pao Commander of Zone #2 Lima Site 20/A Long Tieng (Long Chieng). At the battlefield site NE of Laos, Neng fought the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) and Lao- Communist and protected U.S. troops.
After the Laos government fell to the communist in 1975, Neng fled to Thailand and immigrated to Austin, Texas.
Prior to his strokes he was active in the SGU VFD of USA and volunteered as a member of United States National Defense Corps Prepared to Protect for Disaster CERT, FEMA to help local government, community and for final military honor. He is survived by his brother Toutong Moua (Kaukauna), sisters Nor Moua Vang (Sacramento, California), Mai Houa Moua(Laos) and Mai Yer Moua(Thailand).
Neng is preceded in death by his parents Mr. Nhia Ma Moua and Mrs Mai Lor and sister Sao Bee Lyboualong.

Funeral services for Neng will be held at Valley Funeral Home 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton, WI 54911, from Saturday, July 27, 2013 to Monday July 29, 2013. Visiting time for July 27, is from 08:00 am to midnight and Sunday July 28, opens 24 hours to 11:00am, Monday, July 29. Leaving to burial site Twelve Corner Cemetery on the corner of Center Valley Road and 12 Corners Rd in the town of Center, Wisconsin.
