Rosemary Keil, age 87, of Kaukauna, entered eternal life on July 30, 2013, at Appleton Medical Center. Rosemary married Willard Keil on March 2, 1946, in Kaukauna. During their 67 years of marriage, they raised a loving, close family. Over the years, she worked at Kaukauna Klub Cheese, Prange-Way and Pechman's. Being a devoted mother and homemaker was by far her favorite job. She loved to bake and share her banana nut bread. Rosemary was an avid Brewers and Packers fan. Fishing was another favorite pastime. Her special knitting talent was admired by all. She was humble, kind and friendly.
Rosemary prayed daily for her family: her husband, Willard; her son, Tom (Judy) Keil, Kaukauna; her daughter, Karen (Bill) Lueders, Sheboygan; her daughter-in-law, Karol Keil, Menasha; her brother, Floyd Stegeman, Kaukauna; her grandchildren, Amy (Pete) Van Dusen, Rhonda (Ray) Brantmeier, Todd (Julie) Keil, Tim (Becky) Keil, Renee (Ed) Miller, and Trish (Doug) Weinke. She is further survived by her ten great grandchildren, Andy and Alex Van Dusen; Nathan, Natalie and Noah Brantmeier; Breanna, Ashley and Abbey Keil; and Kaelyn and Hunter Weinke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruth (Christensen) Stegeman; her son, Robert Keil; her sisters-in-law, Wilma Schoenwalder and Marion Stegeman; and her great granddaughters Hannah and Faith Brantmeier.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at TRINITY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 804 Grignon Street, Kaukauna, with Rev. Timothy Wilkens and Rev. Karl Schultz officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Neenah. A special thanks to Dr. Al Cherkasky, the caring nurses on the 8th floor of AMC, and Pastor Schultz and Pastor Wilkens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Trinity Ev.
