Carson, Scott E.

Scott E. Carson, 74 of Ross, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West, Fla. He was born on Oct. 8, 1939, the son of Scott and Ann (Longstreet) Carson. He graduated from Western Hills High School. On Dec. 23, 1961, he married Eileen Groh at St. Aloysius Church on the Ohio. Scott was employed as a Lithographer for many years, most recently at Graphic Packaging International. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. Aloysius of Shandon, and the Ross Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eileen Carson; three children, Deanna (fiancé, Scott Steiner) Carson, Theresa (partner, Maggie March) Carson, and Scott (Sarah) Carson; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashleigh, Trent, and Noah; and two sisters, Ann (Steve) Starch and Jill (Terry) Parson; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, Ohio, on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, from 4 - 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Church, 3350 Chapel Road, Shandon, Ohio, on Monday at 10 a.m. with burial following in St. Aloysius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to 1213 Club, P.O. Box 1202, Hamilton, OH 45011.
