After graduating from Brodhead High School, Sue furthered her education, earning her teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater in 1953. On April 13, 1957 she married Millard D. Food Co-op program for 26 years, the YMCA Board, Tri-County Ice Arena Board, Meals on Wheels, VNA Flu Clinic, Family Services Association, Lake Lucerne Camp Committee, and several other organizations, too numerous to list. Sue was a recipient of the Pickard Award for lifetime volunteering, the Neenah Rotary Club Service Above Self Award, and she was named Outstanding Young Woman of the year in 1967.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Holly Robinson, Neenah, Mark (Emily) Robinson, Milton, Marty (Ann) Robinson, Appleton; four grandchildren: Ben, Sam, Nick, and Kelly Robinson; her sister's daughters: Jayne Hezner and JoEllyn Witke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
