This is very difficult to write as I have lost my best friend...the one man whose heart took me in when I needed someone...listened to my hopes and dreams as I did for him as well with his daily devotion....He is now at peace and with his God.and for that I am happy for his soul...Rest in peace my friend and I will see you again someday !!!

My grandfather was a butcher in Troy, Ohio and when we moved to Wisconsin in 1971 - we found Jacob's. It's not just another trip to the meat market, it's like visiting family. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Eddie was a joy to visit; and his legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of his family and his friends.

Our deepest sympathies and prayers of comfort to the Jacobs family. Ed's probably busy making the best sausage that Heaven has ever tasted right now (and telling jokes).

We were fortunate to have met such a wonderful man in the last year through Betsy and Kirk. What a great person, always had a smile on his face. He will be missed dearly while sitting on the swing up at that cottage. RIP Ed. All our thoughts are with the family.
