Charlie truly enjoyed life, and tried to make the most of it. In addition, for many years, Charlie was also a regular blood/platelet/plasma donor at the Community Blood Center.
Charlie's greatest joys were summer family vacations, and just watching his family grow, mature, and all become successful in their own way. He also enjoyed coaching/watching his children in middle-school basketball over the years. His grandchildren, Kendyll Brynn, Caiden James and Bentley Charles Brochtrup, round out the group, and Charlie thoroughly enjoyed his short time spent, watching and listening to every move they made.
