Dorothy "Dot" Tennie, age 85, slipped into the arms of Jesus, her Savior and Lord, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St. Paul Home surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on September 11, 1927, to the late Edward and Helen (Weiss) Liesch. She married Walter Tennie in 1946, living most of their married life on Coolidge Avenue, Appleton. She was employed at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Appleton Public Library before retirement.
