Florence G. Adamietz, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, with her family at her side at Oakridge Gardens. On November 17, 1925, Florence was born in Staples, Minnesota, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Kraus) Endres. Florence was united in marriage to Maurice Adamietz on January 5, 1946 in Webster, Wisconsin; he preceded her in death on January 29, 1989. Florence liked to do many things, but her favorites were listening to music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Florence will be missed by her loving children: Bob (Nancy), Ron (Kathy), Don (Debbie), Bill (Rose), Tom (Sharon), Barbara (Jerry) Porsche, Betty (Dave) Koslowski; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way in December; two brothers: Jerry and Joe Endres; and many other family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Lauer; a brother, George Endres; and a sister-in-law, Monica Endres.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha, with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 am until the hour of the Mass. Interment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Town of Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Oakridge Gardens for the wonderful care given to our mom, especially the staff on the East Wing.
