Harold F. Billington, (also known as "Bill" and "Ike"), 74, Weyauwega, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012. He was born Nov. 5, 1937, in Weyauwega, the son of Alton and Dorothy (Holcombe) Billington. On Sept. 15, 1956 he married Wynona Davene Rogers in Greenville, SC.

Harold is survived by his wife, Davene; three children, Berray, Appleton, Wis.; Cheryl (Mark) Weaver, Weyauwega, Wis.; Kathy (Mark Lemke), Appleton, Wis.; 10 grandchildren, Bryan (Mellissa) Schumacher, Jordan (Jessica) Schumacher, Joshua Oehlke, Mackenzie Oehlke, Emily Billington, Elizabeth Billington, Eleanor Billington, Rachel Lemke; two great-grandchildren, Caydance and Amelia Schumacher. He was also blessed with two step-grandchildren, Megan (Dave) Kaschak, Kimberly, Wis. and Haylee Weaver(special friend, Thomas), Appleton, Wis. and their children. He is also survived by his brothers and their wives, Richard (Eunice); James (Pat); and a loving extended family of nieces and nephews and friends he made along the way- especially his good friends, Bill Van Schyndel, Appleton; Alex and Johanna Mueller, Brookfield, Wis.; and his golf partner of many years, Dave Flanagan, New London.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Edward and Sallie Abraham; and a very special nephew, Brad Billington.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Harold's life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 S. Pine Street, Weyauwega, Wis., on Saturday, May 26, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at First Presbyterian Church on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

The family would like to thank those who cared for Harold: his special nurses at Fresenius in Neenah; his many doctors and their staff, Dr. Earl Anderson and the Theda Care Hospice team. A very special thank you to all those who cared for him at the Veteran's Home in King. (You know who you are!)

We know our dad is golfing again, playing fetch with his beloved yellow lab, Sadie, and most of all, keeping everyone in stitches with his sense of humor and his quick wit. We love you, Dad!
