Bluma, Helen F.
Helen F. Bluma, Appleton, age 79, died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Rennes Health Care Center. She was born January 1, 1934 in Pulaski to the late Albert and Hertha Reinke, Sr. Helen married Joseph Bluma and he precedes her in death.
Helen is survived by her sons: Kenneth (Vi Werth), Menasha; Randall, Oshkosh; and Gregory (Kathy), Appleton. There are six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Siblings: Albert Jr. (Dolly), Ervin (Gena) and Harvey (Judy) Reinke and Florence Rueckert.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by Joseph's parents: Antone and Julia Bluma; brothers: Richard (Maxine) and infant Maynard Reinke; and brothers and sister-in-law: Wallin Rueckert, Ralph Bluma (Helen) and Lucille (Joseph) Jarosinski.
Helen worked many years at the Valley Inn and enjoyed interacting with the diners and her co-workers. In her free time she liked to spend time visiting with family and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday December 30, 2013 at BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH (825 Appleton Rd. Menasha) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Sam Degner will officiate. Committal St. Paul Cemetery, Zachow. To sign the guest book, please visit oconnellfh.com.
Helen's family would like to thank her sister Florence and her good friends Bette Ziesemer and Elaine Harper for their frequent visits and phone calls. Also to the staff at Rennes and the many caregivers she had over the last several years.
