Karen E. Jungwirth
Age 73 of Greenville, Wisconsin, died on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Kindred Hearts in Greenville. Karen was born on January 19, 1940, in White Lake, Wisconsin, daughter of Leonhard and Dorothy (Moore) Schiefelbein. On September 22, 1974, she was united in marriage to George Jungwirth. He preceded her in death in 2011.
Karen spent her working career as a waitress, working at several different restaurants throughout the area. She was also employed by AAL doing clerical work. Karen enjoyed camping and fishing.
Karen is survived by daughters, Jenny Catlin, significant other, Gary Vanevenhoven, Greenville and Kari (Todd) Dombrowski, Freedom; sons, Steve (Sue) Simon, Appleton and Don (Angie) Jungwirth, Hortonville. Grandchildren: Matt (Tricia) Catlin; Ryan (Nicole) Catlin; Nick Babino; Kalie Catlin; Hunter, Brooke and Miranda Dombrowski; Nathan, Chelsea and Chloe Jungwirth; great-grandchildren, Carleigh, Braden, and Thomas Catlin and Embry and Rhett Catlin. She is further survived by three brothers, one sister, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; one brother and one sister.
Per Karen's request, a private family service will be held. The family request that Karen is kept in special prayers and thoughts. Burial will be held in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton, Wisconsin.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Kindred Hearts as well as Dr. Kroner and his staff for the tender, exceptional care provided to Karen.
