Woyak, Kenneth H.

Kenneth "Ken" Woyak, age 66, of Little Chute, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 20, 2013.Ken was born August 29, 1947, son of the late Henry and Viola (Wellhouse) Woyak. On March 26, 1971, he married Gail (Lessor) Woyak at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Ken honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated and hardworking man, employed at Miller Electric for 37 years, and was enjoying his recent retirement. An avid handyman, Ken loved to tinker around his home and garage in his free time. He enjoyed restoring--and looked forward to cruising in--the '68 Chevelle that he and Gail recently purchased. Above all, he loved spending time with his wife, children and granddaughter, Paige.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 42 years, Gail, his two children, Tom Woyak (Stephanie) and Tiffany Williamson (Shawn), and granddaughter, Paige Woyak, all of Appleton. He is also survived by two sisters, Barb Godeck of Menasha and Terry (Bob) Quella of Appleton, as well as his brother-in-law John Gietman of Somis, CA. He is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Viola; sister, Jan Gietman (Woyak); brother-in-law, Jim Godeck; niece, Bonnie Godeck and great-nephew, Josh Godeck.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 26, 2013 at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH (2220 E. College Ave. Appleton) from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 1:00p.m. with Pastors Martin Koeller and Timothy Seabaugh officiating. Military rites conducted by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258 will immediately follow. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at oconnellfh.com.
