Lawrence L. "Larry" Ferge

1936 - 2011

Lawrence "Larry" L. Ferge, age 75, New London, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 26, 2011. Larry was born on March 30, 1936, in New London son of the late Clarence and Martha (Rast) Ferge. He was united in marriage to Eleanora Weiland on September 14, 1957, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London. Larry worked at the Neenah Foundry for 30 years. He enjoyed going up north to the cottage, fishing, hunting and spending time with grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time with his golden retriever Scotchy.

Larry is survived by his wife Eleanora; his children: Brenda (Richard) Tease; Rick (Jodie) Ferge and their children, Austin, Justin and Lindsey; Barbara (Scot) Timm and their children: Christopher, Shalon (fiance' Kraig Kanaman), Farrah, Natascha and Dean.. A sister, Marlene Ferge; brother, Richard (Sharron) Ferge. Sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ferge, Lareen Ferge and Margie Lund. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary (Ron) Tyler, Raymond (Ardella) Weiland and Donald Weiland. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his dogs, Sadie and Wendy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clarence, James, Ronald; sisters, Beatrice and Jadell; brother-in-law, Clarence (Verna) Weiland; a sister-in-law, Marlene Weiland and his dog Scotchy.

Funeral services for Lawrence will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. Brian Hennig officiating. Interment will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery, New London. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
