Lucille A. Bach, age 80, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on December 2, 2013, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 18, 1933, in Hurley, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie (Ellos) Mattson. She was united in marriage to Thomas Paul Bach on October 30, 1954, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their marriage was blessed with four children. Lucille was very active and outgoing. She enjoyed the outdoors, walking hiking, swimming and skiing. You would often find her helping out at the Allen's Corn Stand in the area. Lucille was active with the Democratic Party. She was always putting others before herself and offering a helping hand to those in need. Many will miss her great company.
Lucille is survived by three children: Pete Bach of Neenah, Paul Bach and Maggie (John Mottarella) Bach, all of Santa Barbara, California; and one sister, Virginia (Jack) Soetebier of Duluth, Minnesota. She was preceded by her husband, Thomas in 1999, and one daughter, Jane Marie Bach.
Memorial service for Lucille will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha; with Pastor Steve Dietzler officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed towards Valley VNA, on their website www.valleyvna.org
