Lynda Aho, Appleton, 66, passed away unexpectedly in Rhinelander, WI, on Saturday April 6, 2013, with family by her side. She was born November 1, 1946, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late George and Ruth Wamser. On November 24, 1973, Lynda married Robert Aho. The couple lived in West Allis, where they raised 3 daughters and a son. The couple later moved to Appleton, WI. She was a loving wife, mother and grandma. Lynda loved caring for and spending time with all of her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. Lynda enjoyed going to their cottage, spending time with her family, traveling, and bird watching.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Robert; their children, daughter, Kathleen (special friend, Ricky) Vande Berg, Fond du Lac, and her sons, Cory and Brett; daughter, Lisa (David) Reish, Waukesha; daughter, Michelle (Mark) Gurski, West Allis and their sons, Cody and Kyle; son, Robert (Jocelyn) Aho, Neenah their children, Cassandra and Wesley; sister, Carol Haggerty; brother, George (Wanda) Wamser; along with nieces, nephews and godchildren. She is further survived by her husband's family, Carol (James) Miltner, Mary Aho, and Robby Maduro.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Wamser; her father-in-law, Jeff Aho, and mother-in-law, Dolores Aho.
As per Lynda's wishes a Memorial service with family will be held privately.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Monico first response team, The Boondocks staff, along with the nursing staff and Chaplain John of St. Mary's Hospital, Rhinelander, WI for the wonderful care and support. Carlson Funeral Home (www.carlsonfh.com) is assisting the family.
