Witbro, Marilyn

Marilyn M. Witbro, 79, Green Bay resident, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at her home. She was born September 10, 1933 in Green Bay to the late Clifford and Henrietta (Wintgens) Morgan. Marilyn married James Witbro on May 30, 1953, at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2007. She loved china painting, creating porcelain dolls and sewing dresses for the dolls. Marilyn was a member of International Porcelain Artists and Teachers, the Doll Artisan Guild and was a longtime member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in De Pere. She was very proud of her family and their accomplishments. Spending time with them brought her the most joy.

Marilyn will be sadly missed by her three daughters: Vickie (Tom) Pierquet, Suamico, Pamela Witbro, Green Bay and Linda Witbro, Appleton; three grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Theiss, Green Bay, Bryant (Cortney) Gerbers, Denmark, and Stephanie Sheldon, Suamico; three great-grandchildren, Ami and Kaitlyn Sheldon, and Gavin Gerbers; step-grandchildren, Jeremy (Danyelle) Pierquet, Robinsdale, MN, along with their children Julia and Lauren, and Brandon Pierquet, Seattle, WA; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Lloyd) Stenbeck, Eden Prairie, MN and Donna Witbro, Green Bay; nieces and nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Donald Witbro.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Monday, April 22, 2013. Parish wake service 7:00 pm Monday. Visitation will continue after 10:00 am on Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, until time of mass. Funeral mass 11:00 am Tuesday at the church with Rev. Marilyn's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of Unity Hospice. The care and compassion given to Marilyn and her family will always be remembered.
