Meredith Lamb Obituary
Lamb, Meredith Lois "Kitty"

Meredith Lois "Kitty" Lamb, age 86, of the sunny East shore of Lake Winnebago, died on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Brewster Village in Appleton. She was born January 25, 1927 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late John Edelblute and Minetta Munroe.

Kitty married Daniel Aloysius Lamb on November 28, 1946 at St. Peter Claver Church in Sheboygan.

Following their marriage, Daniel & Kitty decided to lay down roots in Madison where they build their home on their own. During this time, Kitty worked as a department manager for Prange's in Madison all the while tending lovingly to her primary job of raising her seven children.

In the early 1980's, Kitty established Country Lamb Limited; it was an opportunity for Kitty to showcase her artistic ability and travel the country selling her works of art.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, formerly the Holy Trinity Parish in Jericho, WI, and truly enjoyed entertaining family and friends at their lake home. She loved her family and cherished every moment she could spend with her grandchildren. Those who knew her, treasured Kitty's sweet and helpful soul, knowing that she could always be counted on to lend an ear, or offer a kindly bit of advice.

Survivors include her children: Susan Vassar, Daniel A. Lamb, Jr., Julie Ann Lamb and her significant other, Cecil Wells, Philip (Debbie) Lamb, Amy (Daniel) Choles, Betsy (Fred) Shumaker, Ted (Colleen) Lamb; 12 grandchildren: Ken, Jr., Katie, Julie, Heather, Chris, Kyle, Josie, Molly, Amy, Susie, Charlie & Nick; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother: John Edelblute. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 am on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton, with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Jericho. Visitation will be held at the Wieting Family Funeral home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, April 8, 2013.
