The Guest Book is expired.
Phyllis Warner died peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 13, 2012 on her 80th birthday.
Phyllis was born on June 13, 1932 in Hortonville at her grandparent's home. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Hazel (Schultz) Miller.
Phyllis married Oliver Warner on June 10, 1950; he preceded her in death on April 4, 2012. She is survived by six children, Judy (Arvid) Johnson, Appleton, Robert (Linda) Warner, Pineville, LA, Diane Spina, Allen (Lynn) Warner, Shiocton, Barbara (Wayne) Stellmacher, Freedom, and June (Todd) Mogensen, Kimberly. She was grandmother to 17 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney Mogensen.
She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs with no fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and kindness is the rule when she gives instructions. She carefully watches all that goes on in her household and does not have to bear the consequences of laziness. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her. There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all! Proverbs 31:25-29.
The funeral service for Phyllis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dick Schaefer officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Private interment will be held on Monday at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund that is being established in her name.
The family would like to thank Dr. Guenther, Dr. Duppler, Nancy, Jenn and the wonderful nurses and staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology and the nurses on the seventh floor for their genuine care and compassion.
