Ray was proud to be a dairy farmer on what is now the 5th generation family farm. He truly enjoyed his family and all the special occasions they celebrated. Ray touched people's lives whether they knew him for a short time or a lifetime.

Ray is survived by his nine children, Curt and Connie Posselt, Cathy and Bob Gottschalk, Judy and John Green, Joanne and Jim Steudel, Alice and Mike Peppler, Jeff and Becky Posselt, Cheryl and Jeff Ryf, Tom and Sheri Jo Posselt, and Laurie and Scott Eckstein; twenty-three grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Loma Jean on January 24, 2005; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Orville and Dorothy Laabs, Mildred and Leonard Kopitzke.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester, 8396 Steeple Hill Dr. Larsen, Wisconsin, with Pastor Dan Luett officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday September 15 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, and will continue on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
