Stroud, Ronald L.

Ronald L. Stroud, 64, passed away on August 12. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith" (II Tim 4:7). Ron operated Stroud Heating and AC and most recently enjoyed his job at Hartman Creek. He loved flying and piloted for the Drop Zone and aerial photography; enjoyed volunteering and friends at Fox Cities PAC, enjoyed travel: Italy, Greece, Istanbul, etc. Ron was a most caring, wonderful gentleman, husband, grandfather. While flying/piloting Marilyn (Korth) over her home farm, he presented an engagement ring and they've been happily married 41 years. He is further loved by children, Aaron (Stacy) Stroud and Carrie (Brett) Powers. He was a world's best Papa, adored by Ethan, Graham, Isabella and Alexa. He is survived by his mother, Faye Stroud, siblings Linda (Bill) Thompson, Gary (Rhonda) Stroud, Lori (Tom) Filz and "in-laws" Gladys Scheller, Karl (Judy) Korth, Audrey (Jerry) Brown, Dalton (Lucina) Korth, Dwight (Arlene) Korth, many awesome nieces and nephews and special lifelong friend Dan (Karen) Pontow. Visitation will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 8 South 4th St., Winneconne, on Sunday, August 17 from 3 to 4 p.m. followed by a memorial service. Thank you to wonderful healthcare workers, Pastors, and thoughtful prayer friends. A memorial has been established.

Though from Ron's Parotid cancer, he could no longer eat nor speak: He now can sing glorious praises. And our "teardrops are but prisms of bright colored rainbows" © mstroud.

Farewell, we love you, go with God. We will meet again.
