Sharon Gladys Luedtke (nee Luebke), Neenah, age 71, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013, at Cherry Meadows, in Menasha, following a short illness. She was born July 28, 1942, in Neenah, daughter of Daniel and Mabel (Hanson) Luebke. On October 6, 1962, Sharon married Ralph Luedtke at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Neenah. They lived in Neenah their entire married lives. They enjoyed 51 years of marriage together.
Sharon will be forever loved and missed by her husband, Ralph; a son, Duane (Karen) Luedtke, Freedom, and their sons: Derek, a Navy Diver stationed in Hawaii and Ben, attending UW Madison; a daughter, Penny (Jeff) Brauer, Winchester, and their two children: Jenny and Jacob.
Sharon is also survived by her loving siblings: Erv (Carol) Luebke, Dennis (Linda) Luebke, Marci (Bob) Braun, Chuck (Ann) Luebke, Bob Luebke, Audrey (John) Kramer, Ron (Lynlee) Luebke, Susie (Andy) Jankowski; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, extended family and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Mabel Luebke and a brother, Arden Luebke.
Family was very important to Sharon. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, celebrating birthdays with her three sisters, and family get togethers. She also loved to read romance novels, watch old movies, the Packers, finding treasures at thrift shops, weekly breakfast with retired family members, and listening to Polka music. Sharon never met a person she didn't like and no one was a stranger to her.
Per Sharon's wishes, services will be private. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Appleton Medical Center and Cherry Meadows Hospice for their loving care for Sharon during her short time with them.
