Fischer, Patricia

Patricia D. Fischer, nee Meyer, age 70, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014. She was born in Wausau, WI on April 23, 1943 the daughter of the late Adrian and Ethel (Maxfield) Meyer. On October 23, 1963 she married Gerald Fischer in Neenah. Pat worked for Neenah Paper, L&L Transport and Secura. She loved darts, bingo, and ELVIS. Pat will be remembered for looking forward to family Christmas Eve gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.

Pat is survived by her husband, Jerry; children: Toni (Kim) Hangartner of Appleton, Tammy (Paul) Phillips of Appleton; Troy Fischer of Menasha and Travis (Samantha) Fischer of Menasha; grandchildren: Shawn Fischer, Ryan Phillips, Nicholas Phillips, Leigha Fischer and Hayden Fischer; great-grandchild, Mason Fischer; brothers: Jerry (Carol) Meyer, Richard Arndt and Mark Meyer; sisters: Bonnie (Jim) Webb, Lynn (Glen) Graham, Mary Anne Meyer and Nancy Berg; sisters-in¬-law: Patricia and Esther Meyer; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Robert and Dean Meyer; and nephew, James Meyer.

Private services will be held.

The family extends a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Theda Care at Home Hospice & Cherry Meadows, and the U.W. Hospital Cancer Center in Madison.
