Ott, Jeffrey L.

Jeffrey L. Ott, Appleton, age 62, died Sunday May 4, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Sheboygan on July 28, 1951 to Leander and Virgiline "Virg" (Perman) Ott. Jeff enjoyed spending time in Door County and four wheeling in Crivitz. He loved fishing and watching his stepson, Josh, play baseball in the summers. He also loved airplanes, fixing things, and faithfully followed the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Jeff married Bonnie Soland on February 17, 2014.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Bonnie Soland-Ott; children: Jeffrey (fiancée Kristen Page) Ott, Osceola, IN; Brittney (Richard) Dupuis, Eugene, OR; Mandy (Jeff) Quick, Appleton; Danielle (Dave Spigarelli) Soland, Appleton; Josh (Sara Vanden Berg) Soland, Freedom; and Zack Soland, Appleton; grandchildren: Penelope Ott, Austin & Reece Dupuis, and Alianna Rose Quick; mother, Virg (Edward Podrzay) Ott; sister, Pamela (Robert) Hertel; nephew, Adam (Rozalynne Woolf) Hertel; mother-in-law, Rose Johnson; and brother and sisters-in-law: Bryan (Sherry) Johnson, Cindy Krzewina and Barb Johnson. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Leander Ott; and father-in-law, Ossie Johnson.

Visitation will be held Friday May 9, 2014 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5:30 p.m. To sign the guest book, please visit
