McGuire, Evelyn E. "Evie"

Evelyn Elizabeth "Evie" McGuire, age 92, formerly of Little Chute, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Rennes Nursing Home in Appleton. She was born on November 16, 1921 to the late Louis and Josephine (Neugebauer) Vosters in Appleton. On June 18, 1941 Evelyn married Francis McGuire in Kaukauna, beginning seventy years of marriage until his passing in 2011. After raising her children, Evelyn worked many years in the proof department at the First National Bank of Appleton. Upon retirement Evelyn and Francis built their dream house on Shawano Lake enjoying fishing, daily walks in Mielke Park and visiting with neighbors and family. In 1995 they sold their lake home and moved to Little Chute to be closer to family.

Evie is survived by her three children, Michael (Mary) McGuire, Sherwood; David (Paula) McGuire, Appleton; Kathlyn (Donald) Lindberg, Little Chute; seven grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie) McGuire, Julie (Steve) Cox, David (Laura) McGuire, Robert McGuire, Melissa (special friend Chris Paulik) Lindberg, Anthony (Erin) Lindberg and Magen Lindberg, five great-grandchildren, Connor, Maia, Rowan, Henry and Aubrey, two sisters, Arlene (Jerry) Van Handel, Marian Vande Bogart, and one brother-in-law, Donald McGuire, Darlington, WI; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Evie was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Vosters, a brother-in-law, Earl Vande Bogart and a sister-in-law, Joann Vosters.

The funeral service will be held 12 Noon on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Valley Funeral Home. Evie's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00AM, until the time of service.
