Gabrilska, Beverly J.

Beverly J. Gabrilska, Appleton, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Rennes Health Care in Appleton. She was born December 3, 1931 in Minnesota, daughter of the late Hale and Pauline (Baggs) Button. On May 17, 1952 she was united in marriage to Irving Gabrilska in Waukau at Waukau United Methodist Church and together they celebrated 49 years of marriage. Beverly was employed by the Kimberly Area School District as a secretary for over 30 years until her retirement. She loved playing bridge, was a volunteer for "Working Together", and an active volunteer at Christ the King in Combined Locks. Being an avid card player, she was a member in four different card clubs. Most of all, she enjoyed the times spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Pam (Pat) Bolwerk; two grandchildren: Stacy (fiancé Bill Myszka) and Michelle Bolwerk; a sister; Louis Loker, a brother, Roy Button; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Don and Joyce Gabrilska; brother-in-law, Louis (Jean) Fernandez; her extended family: Lorna DeBroux and Keith (Nancy) Hemp. She is further survived by her Godchild, Mark Hintz; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irving; 3 sisters: Phyllis, Jean (David) Puckett, and Karen Fernandez; and a brother-in-law, Harold Loker. She was further preceded in death by her husband's family: Ralph and Rae (Jane) Gabrilska, Loren Basiliere, Ruth Raddatz, Lois and Hazel Gabrilska.

A Memorial Service for Beverly will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
