Theisen, Margaret A.
Margaret Ann Theisen, Age 88, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Brewster Village. She was born in Menasha on July 28, 1925 to the late John and Helen (Sahotsky) Schmidt. On June 22, 1951 she married the late Joseph F. Theisen, Sr. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2003. Margaret was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. She was co-owner of Catcher Joe's Tavern for 25 years, a very avid Packers fan along with her love for Elvis Presley.
She is survived by her three children: Joseph (Sandy) Theisen Jr., Black Creek; Jim (the late Elaine) Theisen, Appleton; Judy (Bob) Schultz, Little Chute; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws: Sue (the late Richard) Henke, Patricia and Donald Hoelzel, Appleton; and Pete Theisen, Menasha; grandchildren: Heather (Jimmy) Humphrey, Tammy (Tim) Gosz, Tina (friend Rob) Semanek, Greg (Paula) Schultz, Jason Verhagen, Amy (friend Jared) Verhagen, Amanda and Danielle Theisen; great-grandchildren: Kylie, Colten, Kaitlyn, Holley, Parker and great-grandbaby to be Dec. 2014; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her 7 siblings.
The funeral service for Margaret will be held 7:00PM Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME with Deacon C. F. Dedman officiating. Margaret's family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 4:00PM, until the time of service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
