Estella Maeve West, was born peacefully into her papa's arms on July 17th, 2014. She passed away her first night home on July 18th, 2014. She leaves behind her loving parents: Jeremy and Erin (Burnett) West; her grandparents: Michael (Mark) West of Appleton, Gloria (Gary Youso) West of DePere, and Lynn and Terri Burnett of Appleton. Estella also has many loving aunts, uncles, and great-grandparents. There will be a gathering to honor Estella's memory at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 1, 2014, at the Scheig Center in Appleton Memorial Park.

Rather than remember Estella by sending flowers, the family has begun a memorial fund in her name, in care of Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton, WI 54911.

"To say it was the best day of our lives could never adequately describe the experience of total bliss--a love we didn't know was possible--that blew away time and space: it was an entire lifetime in a day, and it has changed us both forever. As horrifying as her loss has been, it brings us so much comfort and joy to hear and say her name, to share the story of her beautiful birth, of her first visit to our home and garden, an afternoon in the sun. It was an honor to carry Estella into this world, and one of her many gifts to us in the past ten months is this love that has blown our hearts wide open. It is a gift she continues to give as we now have that love to share with each other, all of you, and the rest of the world. We'll celebrate that every day for the rest of our lives".
