Age 86 of King, Wisconsin, died on August 9, 2014, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, after suffering from chronic heart disease.

Geraldine was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 19, 1928, the daughter of Adolph and Mary (Voss) Buehler. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Messmer High School. On April 30, 1949, Geraldine married Ralph Beatty. They lived in West Allis for ten years and then moved to Rosholt, Wisconsin, where they farmed and raised their family. In August of 1972, Geraldine and Ralph retired and moved to Marion, Wisconsin.

Geraldine enjoyed reading, movies, music, flowers and crafts. While living at Wisconsin Veterans Home, Geraldine's favorite activities were ramp bowling, balloon volleyball and boat rides. She had a love for animals and nature.

Geraldine is survived by her children, Karen (Bob) Frohlich, Donna (Mike) Valiga, Gary (Lili) Beatty, and Denise (Jim) Fischer; sister, Bernice Strekow; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; brothers, Ralph and Gerald; and sister, Harriet.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London, with Fr. Arul Joseph Irudamoney officiating. Family and friends may gather directly at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Marion, Wisconsin. Family and friends will gather at the graveside at 2:15 p.m. on Friday for the committal.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Community Cupboard, New London, Wisconsin.
