Alt, Rose Ann

Rose Ann Alt, age 61 of Hortonville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Rose was born on July 1, 1953 in New London to James and Helen (Schiesser) Armitage. She worked for several years at the Outagamie County Health Center, which is now Brewster Village as a Registered Nurse. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family and was always the caregiver. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children; Rebecca (Steven) Schnasse and Craig (Tammie) Alt, grandchildren; Hunter (Amber), Brandon, Tyler and Matthew, great grandson, Jace, her mother and father, sisters and brother; Virginia (Gregory) Werner, Warren (Jill) Armitage, Susan (Scott) Forseth and her nieces and nephews; James, Nicole, Cole and Sarah. Rose is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

Rose is preceded in death by her husband, John Alt in March of 2009.

Funeral services for Rose will be held at 3:00PM, Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Valley Funeral Home, with Rev. Dee Sims officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Appleton Medical Center ER department for their care and compassion for Rose.
