Kristle Snyder Obituary
Snyder, Kristle

Kristle R. Snyder, 49, of Neenah was welcomed into Heaven by her Savior on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at her home after a 10 month battle with cancer, surrounded and comforted by her family and friends. She was born in Wausau, Wisconsin to Donna and Russell Zunker on February 21, 1965. Kristle married Marc Snyder on September 5, 1998, and their bundles of joy, Sam and Willem, were born in 2001 and 2002.

Kristle was a graduate of Wausau East High School and continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was an excellent nurse at Theda Clark Medical Center for 17 years, winning numerous awards for her caring and expertise.

With a sparkle in her eye, Kristle lived her life with a love that knew no bounds. She spent her days making sure that she was caring for others, and made it seem absolutely effortless. She was never one to take credit for the joy and kindness she spread. There are many people that have faith, but Kristle truly lived out her love for God every single day. With each smile, caring gesture, and thoughtful artistic touch, she continuously made this world a better place. She was happiest when she was with her family, savoring every moment, and as she told so many people, each and every day, "It's all good."

To honor Kristle's life, live with gentle strength and a compassionate heart for others, be there for your friends in need, help others without a desire for recognition, and simply walk in the path of Jesus. Despite the pain endured over the last months, she never complained, met each day with a smile, and the journey only strengthened her faith.

She is survived by her adoring husband of 15 years, Marc; her loving sons: Sam and Willem; her devoted fur ball of comfort, Eli; her parents: Donna and Russell Zunker, her sister, Kim and Scott Diring (Mukwonago, WI) and their children: Anthony, Alex, Hayden, Austin, Ella, and Ashton; Marc's parents: Mary and Cy Snyder; Marc's siblings: Lori and Steve Engel, and their children: Dustin, Alex, and Jessica; Dr. Mike and Debbie Snyder (Jefferson City, MO) and their children: Kaitlyn and Michael Patrick; Sandi and Rick Bergstrom; and Ki-Ki and Loren Osgood and their children: Max, Dominic, and Oliver.

Kristle was preceded in death by her grandparents, LaVerna and Lawrence Bohl and Verna and Edwin Zunker, her Godmother, Judy Hanke, and her niece, Brittany Diring.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the St. Mary Catholic Middle School Building Fund, 1050 Zephyr Dr., Neenah, WI 54956.

Kristle would like to say a special thank you to her angels on earth, Marc, Sam, Willem, Mom and Dad, Phil, Dianne and John, Jen, Sandi, Mona, and Sarah. And thank you also to her special friends Lizzy, Cindi, Debbie, Darlene, Louise, and Lisa, and to all of her circle of incredible family and friends for all of their love and comfort.

Thanks to Dr. Anthony Phillips and the entire staff of Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology, and Dr. Raymond Georgen and the entire staff of Surgical Associates of Neenah, for always being positive and full of love and support! Thanks also to the wonderful staff of Theda Clark 6 South, especially Pam, Alesha, Stephanie, Jessica, Patty, and Jenny as well as many others too numerous to mention. And a special thank you to Father Mike Ingold of St. Margaret Mary for his steadfast love and guidance.
