Borchart, William A. (Bill; Bim)
William A. Borchart, 89, Menasha, (formerly Marion, WI), passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. He was born March 11, 1925 to the late William and Clara (Wiesman) Borchart. He graduated from Marion High School. Bill worked at the Four Wheel Drive in Clintonville. On December 30, 1951, he married Marian Stauffer. They moved their family to Menasha in September of 1955 when he began working for Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He worked in the mill at Kimberly-Clark until his retirement after 30 years. Bill had lived at Prairie Home Assisted Living since his wife, Marian, passed away on Thanksgiving in 2011. He had good friends and good care there.
Bill is survived by his three children: Thomas (Debbie) Borchart, Menasha, WI; Joanne (Virgil) Bauman, Janesville, WI; David (Robyn) Borchart, Hudson, WI; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian; brothers Gordon Borchart and his wife Margaret; and Donald Borchart.
Bill's life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 11:00 on Wednesday, August 27 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1750 Midway Road, Menasha, with Rev. Stephanie Lorenz officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
