Vanderhoof, Elijah T.

Elijah T. Vanderhoof, age 6, Neenah resident, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. He was born on March 14, 2008 in Green Bay to Heather Vanderhoof and Anthony Swett. Elijah was excited to start 1st grade at Willson Elementary School in Neenah this year. He loved watching Barney and Thomas the Train. Elijah loved playing outside, especially riding his bike and scooter. He will be greatly missed by his entire family.

He is survived by his mother, Heather Vanderhoof; father, Tony Swett; sister, Lakota; half-brother, Kamdyn; half-sisters, Kahlia and Karisma; maternal grandparents, Alice (Randy Ciha) Vanderhoof and Charlie (Karen) Vanderhoof; paternal grandparents, Paul and Lorraine Swett; special aunt, Rachel Vanderhoof; and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay, on Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Funeral service 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Taylor officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.

The family would like to thank all of the first responders in the Neenah-Menasha area and to Theda Clark Medical Center for everything they did.
