I still think fondly of Dick. He was a great boss and good friend. I miss playing golf with him and his sometimes "crusty" humor. Some people seem to make life-lasting impressions on others and he was one of those people.

Words cannot express the sadness I feel over Dick's death. I started working for Dick when I was 21 - fresh out of college. I even babysit Steve, Dave & Sue and 30 years ago Dick married my husband and me. Dick was a great man and he will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear about Dick's sudden passing. I always enjoyed the times we saw him and visited with him at VanHoof family events. My deepest sympathies to Lee and all the family.

I am so shocked to be informed today of Dick's passing. I am a grade school/high school and college friend of Dick's. we reconnected several years ago on the Internet and I was looking forward to visiting Dick and his wife in Florida one of these years.

Thanks Dick for your years of friendship and support. I will miss your blunt and often sarcastic sense of humor, the rounds of golf we played, and our "keep in touch" phone calls that over the past few years became far too infrequent but were always refreshing. I hope there are some great golf courses for you to play there in the afterlife.
