Robert "Bob" Duda, 74, Goodman, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at his home. He was born in Goodman on April 7, 1938; son of Carl and Stella (Kozlowski) Duda. Bob graduated from Goodman High School and attended Whitewater College for one year. He joined the National Guard, serving for six years. Bob moved to Kaukauna and married Angela. He started working at Giddings & Lewis for many years before working and retiring from the Wisconsin Gas Company and moved back to his beloved Northwoods. Bob enjoyed hunting, bowling, making firewood and driving his 4-wheeler "very slowly." He was an avid outdoorsman, gardener, and loved to help everyone he could.
Bob is survived by his three children, Brad Duda, Kaukauna; Jill (Greg) Ahrens, Kimberly; and Shane Duda, Kaukauna; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Chloe, and Marshall; two brothers, Andrew Duda, Minneapolis; and Larry (Susan) Duda, Kaukauna; ex-wife, Angela; further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Carl Jr., Kathryn, Alice and James.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Armstrong Creek. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at church on Thursday. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
